A charity event called «Our Children Are Our Concern» is being held for International Children’s Day – June 1. The event is held by the Institution for Assistance in Difficult Life Situations «Fate and Hope» together with the State Institution «Territorial Center for Social Services of the Population of the Minsk District» from May 28 to June 6.
Children's Day is a memorable date. It is celebrated annually on June 1 to draw the attention of the world community to the problems of the younger generation in order to improve their position in society. International Children's Day was first proclaimed in Geneva in 1925 at the World Conference on Child Protection. Since 1950, it has been an annual holiday celebrated in many countries. It is customary to hold various events with the participation of children and adults aimed at supporting and protecting the rights of children, raising awareness of their problems and needs.
In this regard, from May 28 to June 6, the Institution for Assistance in Difficult Life Situations «Fate and Hope» and the State Institution «Territorial Center for Social Services to the Population of the Minsk Region» are jointly holding a charity event to support families who are in a difficult life situation - families with minor children from the Minsk region are provided with food packages.
