June 1st is International Children's Day. This holiday was established in 1949 at the Congress of the Women's International Democratic Federation, and was first celebrated in 1950. The purpose of this significant day is to remind the public of the importance of caring for children, protecting them from violence, and their rights to life, education, health, and rest.

Today, May 15th, the global community celebrates International Family Day. This day was established by the UN General Assembly in 1993 to reflect the value of family. Our lives begin with family, and our personalities are formed within it. A healthy family allows a person to feel loved, accepted, and important. Values such as love, care, trust, honesty, kindness, empathy, and compassion are instilled within the family. 

Family is the environment in which a child receives care, warmth, and love. A healthy family teaches loyalty, respect, kindness, and mutual support, creating all the conditions for a child to grow up happy. However, as a result of tragic circumstances, children may find themselves outside of their family, left without the care of their parents.

The birth of a child with a disability radically changes a family's life. Parents are forced to rethink their lives, change their priorities, and focus on the child, who becomes the center of their world.

On March 23, the "Destiny and Hope" Foundation team donated humanitarian aid, including clothing, footwear, and food packages, to the community of large families at the Ascension Church.

February 15 is celebrated annually as International Childhood Cancer Day. It is a global, collaborative campaign aimed at raising awareness about childhood cancer and expressing support for children and adolescents with cancer, survivors, and their families.
