For information:
After leaving prison it is usually difficult for a person to normalize their life since social connections are lost, there are difficulties with housing and finding work. There is a need to adapt to new living conditions. Released persons have to overcome numerous obstacles — internal, subjective, and external, which are beyond their control.
The process of social adaptation will be successful if the person returning from prison has solved the main life problems: there is a permanent place of work and housing, normalized relationships with family, restored socially useful connections in the main areas of life, and ties with the criminal environment have been severed. This largely depends on the rehabilitation programs offered and the attitude of the community a person is located in. It is important to lend him a helping hand in time.
After leaving prison, a person should first of all contact the TCSON at his place of residence (with a passport and a certificate of release), where he will be provided with the necessary information and financial assistance.
