On May 15-16, the Fate and Hope Institution for Assistance in a Difficult Life Situation, together with the State Institution "Territorial Center for Social Services for the Population of the Minsk Region", holds a charity event dedicated to the International Day of the Family - May 15.
International Day of Families, approved by the UN General Assembly on September 20, 1993, is a celebration dedicated to families. Family is a life value. What could be more precious than relatives and friends, those who are called to give love, warmth and care? It is in the family that the foundation of the personality of each person is laid, and the continuity of all subsequent generations takes place. The family is designed to help the child discover the potential inherent in him and determine his place in life.
However, circumstances may develop in such a way that the family cannot cope with life's tasks and difficulties independently. Such families create a socially dangerous situation for children (SDP). The purpose of the procedure aimed at identifying children in a socially dangerous situation is to protect their rights and interests, as well as to take a set of measures that help change the situation in the family and create conditions for the normalization of its life.
On the International Day of Families, various institutions, state and public organizations hold events to draw public attention to family issues and strengthen family values.
In this regard, on May 15-16, the Institution for Assistance in Difficult Life Situations “Fate and Hope” and the State Institution “Territorial Center for Social Services for the Population of the Minsk Region” jointly hold a charity event in support of families with the SDP status living in the Minsk region: families are allocated grocery sets.
